1. Buy Now
There are many ways to find the perfect piece of jewellery from Ampalian. You might simply browse the whole site, browse by category, use the site search at the top of the site or narrow your search using the options to the left of every page.
When you've found the item that you want to purchase simply choose the required options (ring size, chain type etc.). You'll find links to helpful information about the options next to the choices. Then click the buy now button.
Your selection(s) will be saved whilst you are choosing so you can add multiple items and remove some or all later. You are not committed to any purchase at this stage.
Please note that the expected delivery date to you is shown above the buy now button. This is the latest date that you can expect delivery.
We're passionate about both service and quality. Your goods are hand finished and inspected in our own workshops. This takes a little time but we believe it's essential to ensure the perfect quality of an item that will be treasured for a lifetime and beyond.
2. Your Bag Contents
Your shopping bag will show your item choice(s) in some detail. You now have an opportunity to change any selected options if you wish. You may also continue shopping and your bag item(s) will be saved.
When you have any items that you may be interested in in your shopping bag you can alter the chosen options or remove any items that you now don't want to buy, leaving the items that you do.
You will notice the GeoTrust verification logo. Ampalian is secured by 128 bit SSL encryption, the same level used by the banks for your online banking and used by the military. Clicking this logo will show the validity of our encryption certificate. When you click Checkout the site adopts this encryption to ensure that any information that you now input is totally secure.
When you're happy with your order click the Checkout button and you'll be taken to delivery and payment details.
You will be able to login to your order later in order to check on its progress. Once your order is delivered that information is also discarded to further protect your privacy.
3. Checkout
When you click the Checkout button you'll see a summary of your order at the head of the page. You now have another opportunity to amend your order by clicking the back to bag link.
You'll notice a padlock icon has appeared in the bottom of your browser screen and the address bar starts "https to tell you that you are now in a securely encrypted page and that your information is safe.
Now you need to enter your email address and any password, of your choosing, twice. This will allow you to track the progress of this order. Then you can enter any special instructions that you want us to be aware of.
You'll then need to enter your billing address. This is the address at which you live and utility bills, credit card statements and bank statements are sent to in your name. Our postcode look up system will find close addresses for you in seconds, please remember to choose the correct house name or number from the list that is then provided. It may be useful to supply a contact telephone number in case we need to speak to you about your order. We are discreet and won't spoil any surprises.
You now have the option to enter an alternative delivery address. This may be your work address for example or you can have your order sent directly to the intended recipient. In the latter case particularly you might not want the invoice and valuation to be sent to the recipient i which case just tick the box and we'll send any paperwork to you at your billing address.
Now you just need to choose your preferred method of payment. We accept the usual major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Google Checkout or you can choose to send a cheque.
If you choose to pay by credit or debit card
you just need to enter the details exactly as they appear on your card into the Ampalian graphic card that's there to help.If you choose to pay by one of the other available methods simply follow the instructions that will be provided.
In all cases you'll need to click the Process My Order button in order to confirm your order. If there is any missing information or errors on your order form these will be highlighted for correction.
Our secure system will now process your order. This may take a few seconds as the order is processed on the secure servers of our bank (HSBC) or our alternative payment providers.
If you are paying by credit/debit card you may be asked for your Verified by VISA or MasterCard Securecode password. This is the online equivalent of chip & pin and exists to protect your card from unauthorised use. If you are enrolled in either of these please follow the instructions on screen. If you are not enrolled you may be offered the opportunity to do so, which we strongly recommend. You may also be given the option to skip enrollment.
When processing is complete a Thank You screen will appear.
You will be able to login to your order to check on its progress. Please don't be concerned if your order status hasn't changed, this simply means that prouction is on schedule and everything is proceeding normally.
Expected maximum delivery times are shown on every item. Actual delivery time is often much faster than this but we don't want to disappoint you with late delivery for a special occasion. In the very rare event that the published delivery time might be exceeded we will contact you immediately and discreetly.
